Cold Things
Went to my first Reptile Expo Saturday. It was so fun, and this was just a small underground one. Such a great atmosphere. Holding the snakes is encouraged! The breeders were so nice.
I met someone who breeds Dumeril's, told him that my boy past away. He said his female is ready to give birth soon, but he won't let the babies go until January or February cause he makes sure they eat and have had at least two sheds. He also said he doesn't sell to just anyone, he makes sure the person really loves snakes. He gave me his card and said he would be glad to sell to me if I can wait til then. I told him that I'm still mourning and am not ready right now anyway. It's nice to be around people who love snakes and understand that they're family.
Of course I did fall for a few while I was there (cause they're so damn cute!). A very handsome albino Burmese who gave me a much needed neck massage. If they didn't get to be about 20 feet, I would have loved to take him home! I may be crazy...but I'm not stupid.
It was great to cuddle with the snakes, I miss my Robby so much.
