Relief
Ah...I'm going to the Hampton's this afternoon to visit my sister. Boy do I need the break. I dropped mom off at the nursing home yesterday so I didn't have to stress about getting her all checked in the same day of my flight. What a relief to come home and not have to deal with her. Oh, I know that sounds horrible, but having to deal with dementia 24/7 is taking it's toll on my sanity. Not that there was much there to begin with. Also, I think my IQ has dropped by about 10 points. *sigh*
BUT...I am going to relax and have fun! Only five days, but I'll take what I can get since Hospice is covering the cost. I hope it's cold there. I am dropping Kory off at his doggie hotel later. Robert is staying home all by himself. I got a nifty timer for his heating and lighting so he'll be all set. I wish I could take the boys with me though, I'm gonna miss them!
