AT&T U-Verse installation has been pretty crappy thus far.
Scheduled time for installation today: 12:00-2:00pm
12:00 - Nothing
01:00 - Nothing
02:00 - Nothing
02:30 - Place a call, we're told that they have us scheduled for 11pm. Yes, 11pm. Because that makes tons of sense. They say they will check and call us back within the hour.
03:00 - Nothing
03:30 - Nothing, place a call and we are told the tech is working on lines for our install. Sure.
04:00 - Nothing
05:00 - Receive a call from the tech who says the rain is the cause of the issue and he's on his way.
05:30 - Tech arrives, goes up in the attack and then comes down and says he's got to go to the DSLAM to switch us over, but he'd be right back.
06:00 - Nothing
07:00 - Nothing
07:30 - Tech comes and says there's a problem with the DSLAM and he can't finish our install, would we like to reschedule?
So.... That's a whole bunch of nothing right there. Too bad my wife had to stay at home all day today, with the dog and cat locked up because we were expecting the installer.
I'll be calling tomorrow to see what the response is, and for a reason to not just stick with Time Warner.
