Day 14
No special clothing effort made by me today, as I am coming down with something, and also didn't leave the house except at school drop-off.
I really enjoyed painting the throw on our sofa, though.
Item wore a long-sleeved t-shirt we got in Dieppe that says something like "Je suis très contente, joyeuse, enchantée, heureuse, gaie, en bon humeur" blah blah, you get the idea. I wonder how many pink clothes Item has. I don't have a strict rule against them (clearly) but I guess I only choose pink if I also really like the garment for other reasons.
It would be possible to dress her entirely in hot pink, since as well as this t-shirt and the cardi from the twelfth, she also has a pair of lurid trousers that were a gift from extended family (and, come to think of it, some pink cords with red polka dots). And lots of pink socks.
She'd look very odd though.
Tomorrow it is school photo day, so I need to pick out something smart and possibly nice and bright, too.
