DEAN TWIGG is charged on count two of Grievous Bodily Harm, contrary to section 20 of the Offences Against the Person Act 1861; wherein on the 1st of January 2007, DEAN TWIGG inflicted Grievous Bodily Harm upon Richard Gardener.
KELLY PRECILLA JENKINS is charged on count one of Grievous Bodily Harm, contrary to section 20 of the Offences Against the Person Act 1861; wherein on the 1st of January 2007, KELLY PRECILLA JENKINS caused Grievous Bodily Harm upon Richard Gardener.

It is New Year's Eve; RICHARD GARDENER is an 17 year old on a night out with his brother, GARY GARDENER, who have both decided to go to "Boogie Nights". At (around) 11.30 PM, KELLY PRECILLA JENKINS and RICHARD GARDENER began dancing with each other. DEAN TWIGG interjected himself separating RICHARD GARDENER from his ex-girlfriend, KELLY PRECILLA JENKINS, where an argument took place. All parties seperated. At (around) 12.45PM RICHARD GARDENER left "Boogie Nights" whilst his brother, GARY GARDENER, called for a Taxi. KELLY PRECILLA JENKINS is alleged to have approached RICHARD GARDENER and begun attacking him, RICHARD GARDENER allegedly attempted to defend himself, bringing upon him the attentions of DEAN TWIGG whom allegedly approached RICHARD GARDENER and began punching him. RICHARD GARDENER allegedly attempted a defence, but was pushed and fell, and hit his head knocking him unconscious.
MR GARDENER suffered:

MR GARDENER suffered:
- A fractured right radius at the distal end which forms part of the wrist joint
- A broken nasal bone
- Bruising to the left zygomatic bone and maxilla
- Two broken ribs and bruising
- Lacerations to the face including several to the upper eye lid
- Cerebral edema
