(no subject)
This was said in December, but I cringe every time I think about it so it took me a while to post.
A group of my former co-workers were talking about cosmetics one day, and one of them stated that she could use only a certain brand of cosmetics because they were the only one that didn't do animal testing. I couldn't comment that there is more than one company that doesn't believe in animal testing, because she then said: "All those other products make me break out; I'm allergic to the animal testings!"
I couldn't bring myself to try to explain anything to her. The sad part is, she's in her 40's, and that's certainly old enough to know better, right?
