Happy V Day

Feb 15, 2005 17:05

I had a great time spending a quiet evening w my girlfriend. We went to a quiet cafe at Millennia Walk. However, the chef spoilt it all. There is only one chef, and we have to wait for a long loooooong longgggggggg time for our food, an hr plus i think, and the prawn in my friend's spagetti is not cooked. +_+!!

I think i can cooked btr than him (they are usually guy). My was delicious i think, well, i am damn hungry by then and started eating like a scavenger the moment the food hit our table. How unglam.

This V day is not a happy one from my friend, lets call her A. A has just broken off with her bf and he told her that for the past four years while they were together, he didn't love her at all. It is due to "pity" that he got together with her. And he tried but he cant love her. Ouch, how hurtful is that.

4 years is not a short time, how can he say that after being together for so long. If you dun love a girl, why drag her along, only letting her go when you have found another one? How selfish!

This make me wonder how many couple are together due to other reason other than love...a lot...aplenty...everywhere.

Anyway, a lot of my friends are going to take the wedding vows. Happy for them yet also a sign that i aint getting young.

That's life.
