I was just going to squee about the marvelous recipe because this looks like something that I will love and I can't wait to try it out with my gluten free bread (it tastes like stale bread anyway -.-), but then I noticed the Music part -fklsgslkgfl I love love love that song, and Shiina Ringo is my absolutely favourite Japanese singer and I was just listening to it the other day, thinking how much it matches any fics about cooking.

But back to the recipe, it's glorious and I swear I shall buy some oranges tomorrow morning and prepare this. Long lice Nigella, sugary comfort food and your wonderful recipes.

(oh, btw, would it be okay to share a link to this on my tumblr? I already mentioned there that a wonderful person on lj is making gluten free recipes for me, and I'm sure the fruk community would enjoy this like I do)

FOR REAL, YOU LOVE SHIINA RINGO, TOO? /couldn't believe the luck she has with meeting another Ringo fan/ LOL, I made a dessert/snack dedicated to her! XDDDD I was still contemplating on whether or not I'll put up that post/recipe in fear that noone would relate to my fan-girly ramblings. Pappaya Mango is my summer soundtrack, but it's such a feel-good song that I listen to it even when the season's over. XDDD OH have you seen that video of the guy making a guitar cover of Shiina's Pappaya Mango?

It's here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eaOsk8of9_A

YUP, LONG LIVE NIGELLA INDEED~! /although I doubt I'll look just as great as her if I keep on making and eating her the food from her recipes/

Yup, go ahead and share it on Tumblr! I was thinking of asking you to plug the Momeki Blog instead; but taking it into context, the LJ one sounds more fitting :D

Oh, I cross-posted this recipe to my blogspot blog. My Shiina Ringo song in there is Kareha or her version of Edith Piaf's Les Feuilles Mortes (Autumn Leaves). I love that song <3 I included a song link in there, too :D

Hi mochi. Due to your privacy preferences, I can't reply to the message you sent me. Here's what I was trying to send:

"That's definitely fine. As long as some potion of the dish involves being in an oven and cooking (not just to keep warm).

For example, I've posted truffles in the past that only involved roasting the nuts in the oven for 5-10 minutes. It can be a tiny component, but it has to be there. This rule is here because in the past BBB was treated as a dessert community and people would upload things like pancakes or chocolate mousse that had no baked component.

Thanks for checking first."

Hi again mochi. For whatever reason, LJ is still saying I can't message you due to privacy settings, and so here's my reply:

"As for your theme question, we don't accept old reposts of recipes. The baked good has to be done and posted in the month of the theme challenge. Otherwise, every month we'd just get people reposting old dishes that suit them theme.

As a general rule, if you want to re-bake the dish and post a new blog with new photos, that's perfectly fine. But in this case it seems like your recipe is not baked? In which case it would not be accepted either way.

Cheers,
Rhiannon"
