Stuff with the Things
Thanks again to everyone for the kind thoughts, etc. I'm recovering nicely. I feel a LOT better. My neck is still a bit icky, but my back generally feels a-ok. Right now my only physical complaint is that I seem to have sprained my hip/outer ass at work. Don't ask me how, but it hurt like a bitch by the end of the night.
Tomorrow I have my IME and hopefully they don't revoke my coverage, because the affects from the shots may not be permanent and if they say that I'm okay, I can't get them again...and then I won't be okay...freakin' bureaucracy.
School is going really well...I got a B on my lab midterm and am probably running an A in the class. I got a C on my mechanics midterm and am probably running a B in the class and marine biology I'm probably getting an A. So wahoo! I just need to keep on top of mechanics and I'll be just fine.
At work I got the top maritz scores again! I hope this month I can get a gas card, I'm feeling optimistic! And it seems like every night I get at least one customer who says I gave them the best service they've ever had! Plus I've made two really good friends there. I'm so thankful that Jason and Danielle started working there. They definitely make it a much better experience. If only I could just work with them and David. Work would be a lot more tolerable. I like most of my co-workers well enough, though there is one I could definitely do without. Turns out no one else really likes her either (co-workers or customers). With the exception of the managers of course...blah. She seems like she might not be too bad outside of work, but she has no work ethic and is kind of a bitch at work. But that happens a lot with waiting tables, people alternate being competitive with being lazy and bitchy. Other than her, my other co-workers are cool though.
I don't have to much free time, but I am able to see my friends on occasion. I was really glad I was able to be there for Karen on her birthday ; ) She's awesome! I haven't gotten much time to see many others though. And I work Friday (Halloween) and Saturday. I can only hope that they let us out early. I hope it gets dead around midnight so I can make money before then, but still do stuff after.
My money situation is also a LOOOOOT better. I have someone that's interested in the monte carlo. If he buys it for $4,000 I will be completely squared away with my student loans and won't owe anything to anybody! Plus I'll have a bit put away for a new car! Wahoo!!!!!!
OoooOOOoh and I saw Victor today and he asked if I want to go to India over break! Hell freakin yea!!!! If he can get the two for one airline deal ($600 round trip) then I'm going on vacation!!!! Taj Mahal here I come!!!!!!!! Saris, elephants, the works! I'm so excited!!! I want to travel everywhere and this will be a hell of a start! I wonder if there's a Hyatt in India? We get special rates...hmmm...couldn't hurt to look into it!
My other friend may want to go to Australia in the summer...not sure how serious she is though. Omg I'm so excited, I can finally start traveling now that I have a good job and no debt!
Okay that's long enough...but the main idea of this post is: life is great!
