Apparently he's notorious for being "backstabbing and manipulative". That part's new. I was just told that tonight.
Oh well live and learn. Next time time someone offers me something I will be more skeptical. I know I was right in this. I thought back more and am POSITIVE that it wasn't a misunderstanding. I recall the actual conversation and I remember he said he'd pay for the parts and then I said that when I got a new job I'd repay him. He said not to worry about it that I could just take him out for dinner or something. I said I wanted to pay him back and he said we'd talk about it after I have my feet on the ground and have a job. PLUS he later said that he was pissed I didn't offer him money (which I did) and if we supposedly had the agreement that I would pay him when the car was done, why would be say this?
I did my best with the situation every time he changed the rules I tried a new solution. He said he wanted money when I got the car, I suggested a payment plan, he said okay. He changed his mind and I said my parents would lend me the money if they could write a check. No can do. First he said it would take 10 days to clear, I said it only takes 3. Then he says that it will be taxed if he deposits it which is bull. I told him they don't get taxed and he said how would I know because me and my parents are "salary slaves". Hello!!!!!! My dad works for the IRS, he would know about taxes!! But whatever I am able to get the money from Mike and he complains saying that he doesn't want Mike's money. With all of these stipulations, I manage to get the money to him in a way that met with his standards and now he's treating me like I'm some horrible untrustworthy person. WTF???? I did everything I could but suck his cock (which is probably why his panties are in such a twist).
I also found out that he lied about owning two houses...I know for a fact he doesn't own any! God...could he talk out of his ass anymore?

He didn't really screw me over, he just made a deal then changed his mind and instead of owning up to it he's treating me like shit and putting me on the defensive to detract the attention from what he did.
