A very angsty KangTeuk over Youngwoon's departure.
I don't feel like doing the title and rating and shit right now.

He'd kept quiet in front of the fans; heart-wrenching as it was, he had an image to uphold. He didn't have to smile, just not cry. He was pretty proud of him self for managing that last bit.

But as Youngwoon bowed his final goodbye, sent a teary heartsign to the fans and left, something snapped.

He felt Heechul's grip on his elbow before he felt that he was shaking, before he found himself shaking his head at the second-oldest's exhausted, knowing expression.

Time felt frozen as he shook off Heechul, who didn't really put up much of an effort to hold him, and sprinted towards the gate Youngwoon was headed for. He vaguely heard himself scream Youngwoon's name, but then wondered if that was maybe in his head because it was impossible to even consider forming a coherent word in his current condition. But Youngwoon turned to face him just as he reached the other, flinging his arms around Youngwoon's neck so hard it was a wonder he didn't choke.

"Jungsu," Youngwoon sobbed in his ear, and Jungsu simply wailed in response. By that point, neither singer cared about that the fans were photographing and videoing such an emotional moment. All that mattered was that they were together, but soon, all too soon, they wouldn't see each other for two, possibly three years.

If ever, a voice nagged in the back Jungsu's head.

"I love you, I love you, I love you," the younger singer cried over and over again, gripping at Jungsu's sides and hair and anything he could get a hold of as he rocked the two of them from side to side.

Jungsu clung and sniffed and sobbed; image be damned. "Write, call, sing at sky, come back. . .stay," his voice cracked as his muttered. He struggled for a hold on himself and pulled back enough to push their foreheads together, fingers roaming Youngwoon's face, committing it to memory.

Youngwoon swallowed thickly and closed his eyes, nodding. An officer from the army cleared his throat from somewhere at the fence line, announcing that Youngwoon had to leave now. Jungsu panicked and gripped the sides of Youngwoon's face as he placed a chaste kiss to Jungsu's nose, hesitantly and quickly ghosting his lips over the other's.

He pulled away and left for the second time and Jungsu went limp. Security had ushered the majority of the fans away by then, catching on to the moment. He heard Heechul quietly tell the others to go the vans and barely acknowledged the hug Heechul gave him as he watch them drive Youngwoon away. "Hyung," Heechul called. His mouth in a half-hearted, empathetic smile and he tugged on his leader's hand. "It's time to go, now."

Jungsu trailed behind, wanting to do nothing but lock himself in his room, as Heechul had just monthes earlier (he briefly wondered at that analogy is Heechul perhaps felt, or still feels this empty, this dead over Geng's departure; he was sure he did). He managed to make it to the backseat of the van before he let weariness pull his eyelids shut. The melody of "A Short Journey" sang through the radio ("Already!?" he heard Donghae exclaim) and he wanted to scream to drown out the all-too-realy lyrics. Heechul's voice sounded weak as he shouted at the front to "turn the damn radio off, already" and he made a mental note to thank him later as he drifted off to sleep in the silence, clutching his phone, waiting for the promised call.

Well that wasn't depressing. =___=''
I just. . .ugh. Youngwoon's leaving next Monday and he's going into active duty and asdfghflkj /sobs
