I am a huge ItaShi fan and this chapter was amazing. The whole ItaShi dynamic is just so tragic and beautiful and this confirmed all of those wonderfully complex emotions that their relationship held. Before I was basically shipping a couple that had barley a snippet of information written about them and there was only one picture of Shisui. Now we actually find out some of the backstory and get TWO WHOLE PICTURES (still not enough for me but I'll take what I can get). I'm hoping there's gonna be some new fanfic over at bitter_nakano ,the ItaShi community, which you guys should totally check out if you haven't already.
