Obligatory Christmas Update
So it's been so long since I've updated that I don't even recognize the lj interface. A lot has been going on in my life. Since leaving residence it seems like everything is different. I find I've been spending more time with co-workers which is nice but I definitely want to make more of an effort to see my girls next semester.
I went to Ottawa for a week this semester for the Canadian Federation of Students Conference and I'm seriously considering running for an executive position on MUNSU for next year. I had some medical problems early this semester that forced me to drop my 7 courses down to a mere 5 *gasp* so I'd need a few extra courses to finish my honours anyway.
MUN gave me a $1000 random scholarship. I'm totally down with that. My marks were great too. All three of my final papers were As, so anyone who thinks that I can't write can bite me :P
I'm home for Christmas. I miss my SJ family: Diana - 'Everything must be organized Mother,' Allie - 'Crazy let's go to the washroom Aunt,' and Joel 'I'm going to sit here until someone makes a decision Father'
I'm the dependent needy tries to make people laugh son. It all works out and I wouldn't live with anyone else (until of course I find a man to marry w/ 2.2 kids)
Having said that, it is great to be home and spend time with my biological family. Decorating the tree tonight was so much fun and Michael's girlfriend April is uber cool. I feel so lucky for having such a great relationship with my family and appreciate them more than they will ever know.
