28th July: Went for an offsite to SPT sports organized by The Office. Was pretty good. I realized I make a lousy archer and given some training, I would make a good lawn tennis player also, I have the inborn talent of winning a pillow fight without committing any fouls. Of course, I could always serve well in volleyball and occassionally manage not to miss the returns :P We won, that's what matters. We also won the tug-of-war (Engineering Vs Services). No prizes for guessing, I deserve 1/24th of the credit if not more. Hee!

29th July: Accomplished a major product release.

30th July: Bought 9 DVDs. Lots of cartoons and Mughal-e-Azam for mom. Effectively 20 movies though 3 (Pirates of the Carribean, infernal Affairs 1, 2, 3, Sideways) of them didn't work perfectly but the rest are good prints. Gotta get replacements for these three.

1st August: Sent out a training module. My first ever training module was expected to be done in 3 days time and with the release close, I was left with only one day to finish it, which I did. Only, I don't know how good it was and I am eagerly waiting for a feedback.

2nd August: Fell Sick. I still am, but I am in the office. What is keeping me going is the upcoming vacation :D

Things done yesterday:
Solved some math: After a long time. It was more of the "work" type problem. Took 20 mins. Shame on me! At least I solved it :D
The question was: A car has 5 wheels (at a time only four can be rolling) and has to travel 20,000 kms. If I want all the 5 wheels to travel an equal distance, what distance will each wheel travel? At what distance do I replace a wheel with a spare?

Spent loads of Money: Some was spent fairly willingly and some was spend unwillingly of course. Did I say unwillingly? Lord! Let me count. 6000 (rent)+2006 (electricity bill) + 40 water bill + 26 (motor bill). Sheesh! The electricity bill could have been lesser if it were sent on time. But no, they wouldn't because that way they make less money. A******s!!! X-(

On the brighter side, I bought a book case. It's 3x6, I think. Nicely done with 2/3rds glass shutters and rest wooden shutters. Mom thought it was priced ok at 4800/- so I bought it. It is nice but the color doesn't match my TV stand, which is rosewood. Whatever! I like it and I like the way the sales people behave there, especially the girl who dealt with me both the times.

Things to do in the coming week:
Gotta wade through the week in slow motion and then take a vacation. Yay! This is very precious because the last time I actually took more than 7days off was in last October. Pramati is really stingy in allowing people take leave. This is another good thing about my new Co. They couldn't bother less. You do your work, you take vacation. Just do your work (which I do). Delhi at this time will be SO good!
