Months of madness
It has been SO hectic. Fun, but hectic. I still love LJ. Its all nostalgia. It isn't as if I have made a whole lot of awesome, real-life friends through this, but sharing over LJ has been an integral part of my life for over 5 years. Over the last year, I just have been unable to continue. Maybe because I am older. I need to move on, maybe. Maybe, I need to make more time for such simple pleasures again?
Simple pleasures haven't left me yet though. I feel some serious love for Facebook. Really. I am not so active on Twitter, but I love following some of the folks on it. Facebook, however, has an entirely different charm! It is SO well baked, I hardly waste any time on any feature at all!
And then, I am getting better at catching up with old friends. Not just on FB, but in person, as well. Like we are bonding over shopping again. Oui! :D
So, I added a handful more of block-prints to my collection of Kurtis. And, a couple new skirts. It is easy on the pocket, but SO ethnic and beautiful. My perennial love for cotton is strengthened and justified over the past week or so :D
And the love for movies, which I couldn't catch up on, because of the busy schedule, what with the long commute to work and French classes over the week-end, was satiated by Lumiere. Unfortunately, the set top box conked and for the past 3 days, I have been feeling rather deprived. The bright side of it? I could make time for LJ on top of FB and Twitter. Tee hee!
I need to catch up on what's happening in my LJ friends' lives. I wish to start enjoying their posts again and interacting, and leaving comments, and meet, and gosh! there's SO much to do in life!
Ma Belle's doing excellently well. A few issues here and there, but solutions are handy. That reminds me, I need to update my doggy blog soon. So many tips to share! Why, oh why do I have so many internet hubs? What the hell! I enjoy being a part of it, that's why!
Our Sangria and Barbeque parties were roaring successes.
Then, I could help a friend, to get help of another (king-maker) friend of mine to organize her brother's (fusion band's) performance at the Kyra Theatre.
I am helping another friend to put together certain interior things in place.
There's always more to do and I am ready!
