A lot has happened since last I wrote. Yesterday was the Fourth and I spent most of the afternoon rearranging plans for the evening. Eventually I left with Gwennie for Kwapy's. I had never seen it so the wooden dome abode of his was a little shocking. It is very Kwapy, though, and very cool. I saw lylee right away because she yelled "Spoon Friend!" at me and then took a rather scary Izone pic of me and Gwennie. Peter, Jill, Monica, and other folks were there as well and Lylee, I'm sorry for leaving so soon. There were a lot of teachers and lots of pasta as well. We left early though and tried to meet up with Heather but just barely missed her so Gwennie went seventy on 44 and we met Joey and friends in Sluh's back parking lot. Heather literally started jumping up and down when she saw us. We got to the Arch grounds alright and sat behind a sandcastle to see the fireworks. I got to hang out with Heather and Jake and John for most of the time because Joey desperately wanted a funnel cake and stood in line with gwen for over an hour for one. After two hours of being surrounded by St. Louis' finest and paying $5.75 for a drink we decided to hit it. On the way to the car joey stepped on Heather and me and gwen made him feel so bad that he literally carried Hef the rest of the way. Once in the car, we blasted hick country, bad rap, and elevator music to the enjoyment of our neighbors in the parking garage. It took us over an hour to move about 4 blocks so we had able time to make new friends in line. Gwen, Hef, and myself also entertained ourselves with comparing the backs of Joey's and John's heads.
Back at Heather's we talked about guns with heather's dad and set off fireworks for a long time. The boys enjoyed the noisy wistlers and such while Gwen and myself entertained ourselves by spinning in circles with our new "jellyfish friends" that we procured from the remnants of Parachuter fireworks while singing various melodies to the enjoyment of the boys. Mark never showed up as he promised, though, he has since told me that he tried calling several times but since we were outside spinning, we missed his calls. At any rate, mark we missed you. I fell asleep to tom cruise singing "She's lost that loving feeling" and dreamed flying.
This morning hef got us two boxes of those frosted doughtnuts and gwen and I stole a box for ourselves. We drove home and I spent the rest of today finishing reading Pride and Prejudice and starting Persuasion. I'd like to know how clubbing was for any of you who went, though. Oh, there is more one bit of news. For anyone who was worried, Heather's goat-GiGi- was returned but nothing is known about the babies, yet.
