updating
Its been a while since i last updated. I'll clue you guys in on whats up. Scholastics (a competiton for AP students and for everyone else to enjoy) drop of was on friday and boy was that a crazy night. See...I have a problem which runs in the family of being late no matter how hard i try not to be ( actually its because of a selected couple that i was late). So yes on friday i missed my ride down to Country Day School to drop of my Art stuff, i had to call up my dad and have him drive me there because i have no sense of direction when it comes to finding a place outside of Lake Orion or Rochester. Anyways i got there, entered my stuff, and everything went well. On sunday when it was time to pick up our stuff I was pleased to hear that my Portfolio won Gold Key. This means it goes onto nationals to be judged among all other art students which made it past regionals. If i'm not mistaken the slides (a picture taken of each piece in the portfolio) are sent to New York to be judged. Also one of my pieces was excepted into the Scholastics art show held at CCS in February. Congrats to everyone else who participated in the show and also those who received a Gold Key Portfolio.
Today Ms. Buffington wanted to congratulate us on Scholastics by treating us with waffles, and of course who was in charge of making them? Yes yours truly (put my awarding winning Italian cooking skills to work ...lol)So it all went well until the waffle batter started to stick to the waffle iron because we had no Pam to spray on the iron. No good.... i couldn't get the top to open so i pulled hard ( a lil to hard) and the handle broke. So the remainder of the hour i had assistance opening the waffle iron with a pair of scissors and a art carving tool.
Exams are this thursday and friday..yay what fun! *sarcasm*
