A new year...
And another actual post. Really.
I am proud to announce that I made it to the first yoga class of the new year as well as hiking down the hill (and back up) two days in a row to get the mail (round trip, slightly over half a mile at a steep incline). True, the mail box lure was the backed up packages from December's frivolity, but whatever gets me walking is a Good Thing. My ears, however, took far too long to thaw once I got back inside. And the December Folio Society shipment is still en route, thanks to new security measures and nasty weather from here to London and back.
Mostly, however, it's been all knitting, all the time, so I should spend a little time working on the book database and uploading items I would like to sell from same. It's just that it's been so cooooold in my office.
In more exciting news, we get to go over to the coast next week to spend a few days with friends on Monterey Bay, which means walking on the beach as well as hitting all the best used bookstores in the vicinity. Maybe that will jump-start the data entry?
Now let's see if i can do another mail box walk tomorrow and make it to yoga on Thursday...that might almost qualify as a trend!
