We had a lovely, lovely sushi dinner last night in the cool of the evening (yes, we have coolth now) and all got to sleep as late as we wanted, except for MOMD, who woke up to the excited neighbor mongrels down the hill and couldn't go back to sleep. But he had a nice run while the roads were quiet and the cat and I slept in and in, and then spent the day doing a few simple tasks and gazing aimlessly out the window at the Tahoe mountains.
Not much unpacking got done from Comic-Con, but the van is empty and some laundry was completed, which seemed like enough for a Sunday.
I also hunted eagerly for icons (so many sources, too much to choose from) and contemplated making another one of my own that wouldn't be as blurry, but I suspect that involves a better class of image software than the basically free stuff I've got. I'm thinking that gif format is more desirable than jpg. Any hints from those of you who cleverly build your own? I used to be able to edit black and white Mac icons pre-OSX, but that's a long time ago, and several versions of software back, so pointers are welcomed eagerly.
Had a nice flurry of emails with
rainkatt as she works on better organizing her spaces, which goaded me on to empty the dishwasher. (I'm a woman of small ambitions today.)
I hope your Sunday was equally peaceful.
