Wow, I really don't use LJ much anymore.
I probably should use it to catalogue various stuff I do. Art, airsoft, star wars stuffs. Crafty/martial projects.
My main projects of late have been my Sith outfit and getting my airsoft gear together.
The Sith outfit is "done enough for now". I'd like to do something better about a shirt (I'm using a mandarin collar button down), but it should be ok under the cassock, and hooded tunic (With red embroidery on the edges). I have gloves that go very well, as well as using BDU pants, awesome boots, and a pouch belt with extra drapey belts on it. My lightsaber is also "done enough" for my gen 1 saber. I plan on an upgraded, better done one down the line. All in all it's coming together nicely and should look good for I-Con.
My airsoft rig is coming together faster. Largely because I'm just buying well made, real tactical gear for the look/load out I want. My "theme" is less PMC/Military and more PIC/ex-CIA. So my load is lighter. Tactical pants, light boots, rigger-belt, polo-shirt, blackhawk commando chest rig, sniper-veil, shemagh, gloves. I carry a CQB m4 and currently wear a cheap airsoft facemask that I crudely painted a skull on. I'll be adding: Drop leg holder with HK USP, elbow/kneepads, new goggles, mesh mask. I need more m4 mags, both hi- and mid-cap.
Art-wise I've been on commissioned art pieces for months now. Between I-Con, baconpalooza and custom tattoo designs Ive had a full few months.
