However, that was dominated by his upset of losing Eva again. Destroying his second chance then watching as it crumbled the more he left it, failing to change.
A part of him was believing her suspicion of Dante making Eva leave. He remembered that Eva was forever mentioning that she would see him soon, and sort everything out. From Dante, nothing, and he was the reason - understandably so - as to why Vergil was not allowed to see her.
He grabbed hold of her hand to stop it from coming into contact with his face. In his own, you could read agitation (This whole situation was becoming unbearable to him, for having to deal with such a loss again), but a part of him didn‘t want to stop this strange comfort she was showing him, but he wouldn‘t allow it, for having his own barriers up, which were slipping slightly, at her support. “… I am not meant to feel happiness."

Jerking her hand out of his, Laura took his face between both her hands and glared at him, "Vergil, stop this. Everyone deserves happiness. You are no different than anyone else." Her expression softened slightly. "Why can't you see this? Your mother tried to show this to you.."

"N-no..." it was almost a grunt, and he shook his head.

"Talk to me, Vergil.. You are not alone in this." She rubbed his cheeks with her thumbs before she pulled her hands away.

He stood there, quiet, before these words broke that silence.
"I have to go."

Laura grabbed onto his arm and pulled him towards her. There was a determined look in her eyes and she kept a firm grip on his wrist.
"There is nothing saying you have to leave. No one is forcing you to leave, Vergil. Just talk to me."

Her determination to get him to stay with her was quite overwhelming. he didn't know how to deal with it -- it is something he had never encountered before.
He wanted to get out, and he wanted to stop feeling as if he was drowning in this mealstrom of emotion. Without really thinking, he shoves her back, and slashes with Yamato.
Once he realised what he'd done, a part of him wanted to see if she was alright -- then he remembered her abilities. With a little hesitation, he finally rushed out of the building, slamming the door shut. Before leaving the area, he bolted the door shut with some phantom blades. In a few minutes, they would disappear, or shatter if broken. Either way, it will give him enough time to disappear.
