[For once, his membership of the community, DramaDramaDuck, had served him well. He met Agnus through it, a scientist that had researched demonic power and creating his own demons, from his own world and viewed Vergil as someone high and mighty. He'd also worked on Yamato and had a lot of data left over from it

[As Agnus led the way to his laboratory, each of his steps was accompanied by a grimace. After the little incident, it was difficult to move without at least some pain, physical and mental. His mind continuously returned to the man he was traveling with - Dante's twin, Sparda's other son. It was something Agnus had never even dreamed of, but here he was, leading the man to his research facility.

And it was quite a sorry sight, left in almost complete ruin by its last visitors. He shot a nervous glance at Vergil. Despite his admiration for the elder twin, Agnus had little knowledge of his actual personality.

I must apologise for the mess, m-master. My last visitors were a t-tad destructive.

He approached a machine, flicked a few buttons, and waited as it whirred into action, emitting a few sparks.]

[Vergil wasn't really paying attention to most of what Agnus was saying due to the lack of the keywords, "power", "Yamato", "Everything's fine" and ect.. Noticing the sparks and not even flinching. Coming across as calm as ever.]

Problems?

[Another nervous look. Agnus didn't want to even try imagining what might happen if he couldn't get this to work.

N-not at all!

There was a brief moment of silence and then the machine beeped. Agnus sighed to himself.]

Everything is fine. All of Yamato's d-data has been stored entirely intact. Your power will soon be returned to you!

[moarpower]

[The aspect of gaining his powers was all too good and he was already losing his patience. He summons a blade at Agnus.]

Then, why is it taking so long?

[For a moment, Agnus was unaware of the fact that Vergil had summoned a weapon - he was absorbed in the machine's readings. It was only when Vergil spoke and he turned round that he realised: the blade directly in front of him gave him quite a shock.]

I-It is simply warming up! T-This machine h-has not been used in q-q-quite a while, p-please be patient!

[Another one appears. Agnus is learning the great patience of Vergil.]

Can it go any faster?

[Agnus found himself wondering how in the world Vergil managed that. He also wondered if he could find out. He then thought experimenting would not be a smart thing to do. Instead, he thumped the machine, which obligingly behaved.]

Y-Yes, it is working now! No need to worry!

[moarpower]

Hm.

[He begins to slowly pace up and down, blades moving around Agnus, glass crunching beneath his boots taking in the enviroment in which he is going to test out his old powers soon enough.]

[Sweating lightly - it was hard to ignore the blades - Agnus continued to work. Within a few minutes he was rewarded by another beep. In the centre of the room, where the original Yamato had once been, was a kind of hologram of the weapon.]

T-That is only an image. I will siphon the demonic energy into it, according to the data I p-previously acquired. It should not take too l-long.

[He heard the whiz of machinery and turns his attention to the centre of the room. Seeing Yamato again, even though it was a hologram, caused him to smirk slightly. Again, not paying much attention to whatever Agnus was babbling about.]

[Agnus wasn't too upset about not being listened to - he doubted many could understand the utter genius of what he was doing. And he was also excited to see Yamato again. A few minutes later, another beep, and it seemed all was ready. Agnus reached out for it.]

[Vergil moves in closer to his weapon now. He'd make a grab for it if it wasn't for the fact he wasn't too sure if it was safe for him to be sticking his hand into that blue energy stream.]
