[Rangiku is walking in hallway of the rooming area. Holding two books in one hand-- one has dark blue cover and the other's light yellow cover. And a bottled green tea in her other hand. At first she thought of bringing some liquor, but figured Cloud is Aerith's friend so probably he's not a drinker. She brings a bottled green tea instead.]

[Tifa could tell it was one of those nights when she probably wasn't going to get to sleep very easily. She'd thought the longer she was here, the fewer of them she'd have, but it wasn't working out that way, and she wondered if Cloud's insomnia were contagious. Stepping out her door, she started down the hall. She was a little surprised to see someone else around, but not terribly, and she smiled in greeting as she passed.] Hi.

((*tosses Tifa at you because they need to meet*))

[Rangiku is a bit surprised that someone actually still wandering in the hallway at this time of night, with those attacks still happen around the house. For a moment she feels a bit wary, but the girl seems mean no harm-- seeing she actually smiles and greets Rangiku. So she stops to return Tifa's greet.]

[She noticed the momentary tension in the woman's stance, but made no comment. Otherwise, she seemed a lot friendlier than most of the house's occupants. Tifa tucked her hair back behind her ear, figuring a moment to talk couldn't hurt anything.]

Couldn't sleep either?

[Realizing this girl means no harm to her, her tension dwindle. She gives Tifa more honest smile.]

Yeah. Kinda hard to sleep here. I'm Rangiku by the way.

Tifa. [She started to hold out a hand, but then realized Rangiku had her arms full and dropped it, looking sheepish.] Nice to meet you. You got everything there?

[Wait, Tifa...isn't she Cloud's childhood friend. The one that he's planning to move on with-- well the adult version of her. She's pretty and seems to be nice...so now at least Rangiku kinda understands why]

Ah, just some books and green tea for a friend. [Not really sure if she should drop Cloud's name.]

[The tea makes her think of Cloud, but she doesn't bring him up either, just shakes her head a little.]

We're all insomniacs around here, huh? I probably shouldn't keep you.

[She smiles.]

Nah, it's okay...I think I'm going to let him wait a bit longer. [because she wants to know Tifa a bit more.]

With murders and attacks that happened around...it made me a bit wary to sleep and left myself defenseless.

I guess so. [Tifa's certainly had her own problems there lately.] I don't think that guy's out to attack anyone in their sleep though.

I guess not. And I think he's looking for those shards...though I don't why.

Probably to stop us from getting rid of them... but I don't know what that's about either. This kind of stuff isn't really my strong point.

The last time, it was mind-controlling toy. Maybe it's the same for the mirror. I'm assuming those shards came from one mirror.

A friend of his did say he's not himself... You've been here long enough you were here for the first time?
