a baby is coming...
well everyone probably knows by now that I will soon be a nina to the most beautiful baby girl. (it better be a girl) In other words.. sabet's expecting.
I'm so excited. So excited that this past weekend, nina, mom, richard's mom and myself threw her a surprise baby shower at the Hilton Hotel Gallery.
I cannot believe we kept it a secret for so long.. but hey, it worked,she got there, she cried,friends and family were there, good food, nice gifts, and plenty of fun.
OH and of course I decorated. It was so GIRLY just like a baby shower should be. i loved it. and she loved it so..
it was a success! therefore you are very welcome sabet...i love you too.
these are funny. on the left : it was a game called find the safety pins(its kinda like finding a needle in the haystack, but its baby pins in a bowl of rice..BLINDFOLDED)
anyway moist thought she was on a roll, then when she took out her blindfold, all you see is a stack of rice and ONE safety pin. haha. it was hilarious.
and in the middle..thats no photoshop image, haha jamie was really the size of that pot. she looked like a hobbit it was so cute.(by the way, that was while she was
looking out to see if bek was coming , but looked just like a hobbit waiting for uruk-hais..haha.)
Now with the shower put aside. I've been enjoying my wednesday evenings with the company of some girlfriends and my new love ..DEEP FRIED OREOS.
holy cow, I had no idea how good those things were. oh and of course the bbq, drinks, etc. all the good bad stuff at chamorro village.
...and then there's dinner with old friends..
