I think you misread my remarks (and rightly so, because I didn't make myself clear). I'm very pleased that Robert Pattinson is Edward! I think Gaspard is prettier than Robert, but to me it's important that he can get the voice right, and I'm not convinced that he could have pulled off an American accent (his trans-European accent in Hannibal was quite awful). I know Robert's English, but so many English actors feature in American productions nowadays, I think he'll pull it off nicely.
I always wonder that too. Does Gaspard know that all these people girls were rooting for him for a thing he wasn't aware of wanting? Spooky!
I think you misread my remarks I realized that about two seconds after I hit "submit," and then I thought, "Hmmm... to edit or not to edit? Ooh, something shiny!"
Anyway, disregard plz.
:D I definitely agree with you about the voice. Rob has a real sultry quality to his. I mean, that "It's not a bad place for a bath" line in Goblet of Fire still gives me... ideas.
Ooh, I remember that line! I went into HP4 with the intention of perving on David Tennant, but came out saying to my friends, "Phwoar, how good was Cedric? He's a bit of alright, innit!"
Myself included (just retrieving my right foot now).
Jaysus, these media types are savvy.

I bet Gaspard has no idea we've been talking about him this whole time, the oblivious, pretty thing.
