"Don't think of it as losing a set of headphones, think of it as gaining a pair of pants."

Well, my headphones FINALLY crapped out on me. The little pad part on one of the ear pieces ripped off completely after weeks of being in a state of half-rip. So now I'm back to using my old wraparound headphones with some residual padding still on them. At least they work. And the old ones still do too, so if anyone's interested in them I'll gladly give them away. I know they sell replacement ear piece paddy things, I just don't want them anymore and this is a good excuse.
But I DID get new pants. Crystal and I hung out after school, and we had Grandma drop us off at Togo's because Dwayne, Lyndsey, Anthony, and Andrea were going to come down there after school. We got there HELLA early, so we wandered around and went to the dollar store and the thrift store. There, Crystal found a pair of jeans; the stretchy, soft kind. They have holes instead of a zipper, but no cord. They fit hella well, and have the flare at the bottom like I like, so as soon as I find a long piece of brown or black suede cord or something I'll wear 'em. Crystal bought them for me, and she got a black shirt with a yellow 'X' (for Xpress jeans or something), so today was bountiful.
At Togo's we saw Mel and Erin walk by, and when I waved Erin gave me this "Nyah! Go away!" look. I flipped her off, but she'd already turned and Mel saw it instead. I knew she was kidding though, and so was I, but I think Mel took it the wrong way 'cause she gave me a "Bitch, what's your problem?" look/gesture. Oops.
I worked REALLY hard in Physio today. We had the Chapter test on chapter 12 today, and since I'd done all my work I kinda knew what they were talking about. Not enough to get an A mind you, but enough to not fail horribly. I had to finish my chapter 12 packet and do my current events too, so besides the test I finished all of those. But I had to scribble furiously during study hall and some of brunch to do so. My hand REALLY hurt.
And then in Math we had a chapter test too. The cool thing is that yesterday I FINALLY understood what the hell we were doing, so I went back and did all the homework I'd skipped for this section. And although I'm not confident about this test either, at least I knew enough of it to get (God willing) a C. And in another stroke of good fortune, I understand the new stuff we just started! Thank God for graphing calculators is all I can say.

10 days until Anthony comes back
