Deb spring show was cool. i went on thursday after the band played so i could go to someone's 18th on friday. caroline drove me. that was fun. the pac wasn't crowded so we got good seats and i bought beth a carnation because caroline's friend loaned me a dollar. then i thought, i'll buy shell a flower but then i didn't have another dollar, so :( to me. but of course, bethany was so easy to spot because she kicked higher, danced better and smiled bigger than any of the other girls on stage :) go beth! but last year was better. why? because i got to sit with shell and after the performance, we stayed behind like forever with hunter and christen and marissa taking pictures and hugging and being cool, you know, what people do after a big performance. but this year, shell wasn't with me (but caroline wasn't bad lol) but i'm happy for her because she got to do the lights all by herself. i'm so proud of you shell! she did awesome. :) and afterwards, i just kidn of lost beth and shell, and they were each busy, and all i could do was go home. my mom was waiting for me anyway. *shrug* but it was a great show. again, yay bethany and shelly! i'm so proud of y'all!!!
friday after school, i came home and completely crashed. i hadn't been feeling the greatest that afternoon, so i laid down, thinking to myself, i'll wake up. did i? of course not. so my mom comes in at 6:15 and says, are you going to rae's party? well, boo to me. that afternoon, i had meant to drop off some cards i made for bethany and shelly with marissa, or someone who was going to go to spring show that night, but i didn't get that done. i had also planned on buying rae a birthday present that afternoon, but i didn't get that done either. eh...and then i couldn't find rae's invite, so i didn't have directions to her church, which was where the party was going to be. so finally, after like twenty minutes of searching, my mom comes in and is like, are you going? and i was like, well, i can't find the invitation, so i don't know the directions. I called her, but of course she didn't answer because she was already there! But then my mom is like, um, i sure do know how to get there LOL...go me. So i run to Micheal's (one of the funnest stores on the planet) and pick her up an unpainted wooden frame, some cute graduation cutout type sticker things and some musical wooden cutouts. i always figure she'd have more fun putting it together herself LOL...well, judging by the presents she got that night, she'll be busy all spring break :) happy birthday rae! i finally got there around 8. As i was coming in, rae was running to the bathroom. Apparently, she's lactose senseitive or intolerant or something, and she had a milkshake, so she got a little sick :( poor rae! but i think she still had kind of a good time :) the party was fun. i wasn't sure it was going to be, because i wouldn't know many people, but andy and jason and sally were there and krista templeton from middle school. and the other people were really nice :) they watched the village, but i didn't want to watch it because you know how i am about scary movies. lol...so i played ddr the whole time, which i thought i hated, but it's actually very addicting, and a VERY GOOD WORKOUT. i prolly burned more than i put on that whole week ;) i played against jason most of the time. i don't ever hang out with him, but he's a pretty nice guy. well, it was a nice change of pace, hanging out with some people who aren't overbearing and pushy. it was a relaxing evening :)
Today was pretty boring. If you don't know, two weeks ago, i decided that my room was gross becuase i didnt' clean it enough. LOL...i do the weekly vaccuuming and the changing of the bedsheets, and i keep my room relatively picked up, but i decided that it was time to go all out. So i pulled my super heavy dresser away from the closet, after emptying it of it's contents and pulling out the drawers. then i did the same with my desk and put all the contents in these two plastic boxes. so i'm shining them with this really nice smelling spray and then i pulled my curtains down and shook them out in the front yard, dusted the blinds, vaccuumed the corners of the room and the window sills. then i proceeded to move the dresser back into my closet which isn't very big to begin with...GO ME i did it ALL BY MYSELF!!! WOOOO! *flexes nonexistent muscles* so then i had to start cleaning out all the junk...i'm quite the packrat, so i still have stuff from elementary school floating around in my room. I filled up the garage trash can only once though *hangs head* So then Monday came, and i was busy for a week, so i didn't get to clean any, and then the cycle started over the next week. So today, i began the final stages of room cleanup/organization. I rearranged my room. The dresser went back in the closet, the desk migrated to the other wall, the bookshelf scooted over a few feet and a new shelf (an old voortman cookie rack...yeah) was introduced into the family. My baby bookshelf lives between the bookshelf and the rack. Then, today, my brother broke the vaccuum cleaner, so my dad and i opened it up in my room and all this dirt and junk fell out of it, so i have yet to vaccuum all that nasty stuff back up. I broke that little cover that goes over the cieling light, so go me LOL. I threw away a bunch more junk, so YAY ME! lol...
HM...senior memory books are due at the end of this week :D yaaay! i hope this year is better than last year...GET TO WORK SENIORS! And i will have the senior poster done by next week. If you want to help put it together, lemme know. :D And i have to start thinking about the band banquet power points (multiple) LOL AND the photo album AND the SR video AND the extra vid clips AND the SR collage AND the new addition to the band website which i hope will be up the week we come back. I'm excited! I hope I'm not setting myself up for more dissappointment though. And i'm having trouble writing my senior will...hrm.....
