Recently, I have been trying to learn a bit more about human literature. Your species has such a wide variety of genres... so, I would like to take this opportunity to ask. What type of books do you all enjoy the most?

I believe I would belong in the one called "science fiction".

I am personally fond of science books, though history and linguistics are also rather fascinating.

[He pauses, chuckling a little himself.]

Though I probably also belong in 'science fiction'.

Yes, I share your interest in the sciences. I have not read too much into human history, though... or any history outside of my own, for that matter. Perhaps I should see to that.

It is rather fascinating, truly, if rather violent. They war with amazing frequency.

It seems the human race thrives on conflict, then. They were very concerned with fighting us too... it was why they were trying to confiscate our weapons.

Confiscating your weaponry? Terribly rude. Let me guess, they also attempted to... reverse engineer it for their own use?

They attempted to... but our weaponry was bioengineered to react only to our DNA. Our guns simply did not work with humans... but that did not keep them from stockpiling it.

It is lucky they proved unable, then. I suppose they had logic of a sort in stockpiling them; a government's attempt at mollifying the population. Though it was likely greed or the hope that they would... spontaneously discover a way to use it.

[Aside from some of the individuals here and the writers he's read, he does not have a high opinion of the rest of humanity.]

I believe it was more of the latter. They had... other methods of mollifying my kind's population-- abortions, mostly. Burning the eggs or shooting newborns in the streets.

... that is simply barbaric, and unjust. They have been unduly cruel to your kind.

[Admittedly, they'd hired someone to steal the Autobot's protoforms, but that was war. It was different.]
