I'm leaving on a jet plane...
Today we had my dad's surprise 50th birthday party. Actually he knew that everyone was coming because he wanted to do something "special" while I was in town so he asked Beverly to plan a party. Little did he know it was already in progress. So, the family came over, we ate hamburgers, and had a fun time. I love family! I want to have tons of kids when I get older and I hope the man I marry has lots of brothers and sisters since I don't have any.
I also discovered Ebay today, and made my own account. Today I won a brown Kate Spade purse and actually I kind of wish I had been out bid, but I kept bidding because I wanted this lady to have to pay her highest bid- she wasn't getting away with a lower bid if I had anything to do with it. So, finally after raising the bid $1.00 until I reached $37 I won. It was kind of a let down because I didn't want to pay that much, and an hour later I won a $10.00 package of LSAT books- a good price considering I just paid $34.00 at Barnes and Noble yesterday.
I'm going home tomorrow, and I'm really excited because I get to see Mimi!!! She isn't doing well at all because Eddie got her kicked out of the hospital and she had to go to a nursing home where they weren't equipped with the proper machines, medicine, doctors,etc. for her to heal. I'm so worried about her and I know she is in a lot of pain. I want to physically hurt Eddie for doing this to her. One good thing out of this situation is that my mom and Patsy have talked- big progress. I hope they can work things out.
