What happened to taking care of it ourselves?!
I was watching COPS the other night and I realized something. Gone are the days where two friends can settle an argument with a good old-fashioned fist fight. On this particular episode there were these two friends who had gotten into a fight in THEIR OWN HOME! When the cops arrived the fight was already over and these two had already made up and went back to whatever they were doing. Now, no one was harmed, nothing was damaged, they weren't in a public setting and the fight apparently lasted about 2 swings each. Yet these two people were both arrested for this. What the hell?! Who made it illegal for friends to settle an argument? This makes me rather upset, one of the oldest and most effecient way of settling an argument, even with friends, is fisticuffs. It has always been effective and after the fight they both have their anger released and everything is fine. That or they realize that their friendship isn't working and they go their seperate ways. Why the crap are these people getting arrested for this?! I really hate most of todays laws...I really do.
