In a lifetime the average person gathers 1/2 ton of bellybutton lint!

So, This weekend my lovely wife and I went to a reunion-style party gathering...thing...with all her old roommates from Snow College. Now, don't get me wrong I enjoyed myself and they are all very nice people, but I was very very uncomfortable there. There were, as far as I could tell, all nice church-going people, now for those of you who know me. I don't mix well with this particular brand of people. ESPECIALLY with those of the LDS religion(Yes, I AM LDS!) because my religion teaches us very adamantly to respect everyone and to never judge others. We do this very well, if by 'very well' I mean 'not at all'. No disrepect to my religion, but we are the most arrogant, judging, gossiping group on the face of this Earth. And I, being a 'less than moral' individual, have taken the full force of this rather unpleasant aspect of my peers...I have no idea what I was talking about! *reads* OH yeah!! Anyway, this group of people were surprisingly hospitable towards me. I know that they couldn't possibly know much about me, but not a single one them gave me funny looks or really gave a second thought to me stepping outside to have a cigarette. Now, while they didn't go out of their way to talk to me throughout the night, I am just going to assume that this is because these people have all known each other for over 10 years and they have met me twice(once last year for a baby shower), the ones that did talk to me were very nice and made me feel welcome. And that one girl likes Golden Girls...I think she's neat. So, my hat is off to you Friends of Noelle!

Hehe...this post almost contains some semblance of continuity and english skills.
