There was no morning due as the shadows lay low twix the sunbeams

The hunter puzzled this oddity

The passing of days had always been

One as the other ….none amiss as today

His killer instinct began to sift and sort the building anomalies

The whispers on the wind

The stunning presence before the death of the vulgar beast

And now dry leaf when moisture is always

Something had unsettled his world

Something unseen

Something was corrupting

Something obscene

Yet his sharp and cunning could find no pattern

No clause or clue

No hint

The hunter was yet unaware that a rip had occurred

A rip where a rip could not

Across a chasm upon which the hunter had yet to venture

Was a dark shadow…it too puzzled ….on the rip it had stumbled …..
