Author's Note: I just saw the spoiler videos of Glee 210, the Christmas special. And I really hate the idea that Rachel was alone when everybody else has someone to be with. So I created some Christmas special of my own. So hopes you will enjoy it.
Also, I am sorry this is unbeta-ed. All mistakes are mine. English is not my first language, so please have mercy on me. The title comes from the Carpenters - “Merry Christmas, Darling”. Lea really killed it.
Christmas is coming…
The snowflakes, Santa and Rudolph, the present bags, Christmas tree with lots of decorations… It’s the best season of a year.
But not to Rachel Berry this year.
First, she is a Jewish, so her people don’t really celebrate Christmas. But that isn’t the main reason she felt so upset this year.
She just broke up with Finn.
When she walked pass a classroom she saw Finn was helping Santana decorated a Christmas tree. That person supposed to be her. When walk down to the hallway, it seems the whole school has paired up for holiday. Yet she is the only one that’s alone. She is legit to be upset about it.
Sam is kissing Quinn… They seem so perfect for each other. Rachel sighed, leaving the hallway as fast as she can. She need some place to hide right now.
-------------------
Quinn saw Rachel leaving the hallway alone when she turned her head aside and try to avoid Sam’s lip-attack for the second time. Rachel was alone, in a holiday season, and she seems really upset.
Quinn gently pushed Sam aside and excuses herself, following Rachel Berry, her nemesis, all the way to the school auditorium.
With a red hat, Rachel standing in the central of the stage, singing that Carpenters’ song, sings about her lost love. Why, Quinn thought herself. If there is only one person in this planet deserves love, it’s Rachel. And if Finn can’t give her that, Quinn thought herself; I am going to be the person provided to her.
She sits in the dark corner of the auditorium, waiting Rachel to finish. Then with the last note fades, Rachel finished her song, a little panting due to the emotional overflow. Quinn smirk a little, aware that Rachel still have no knowledge about her appearance, she clapped her hands together, give the upset girl a true heart applause.
Rachel was taking a hell of shock thanks to the sudden applauses. “Who's there?” her body is immediately stiffed and eyes wounding around like a scared baby deer. It was so cute!
“It’s me.” Quinn said, walking out of the shadow.
“Oh! Hi, Quinn. I wasn’t expecting any company. ” Rachel blushed with her word, darting her eyes to look at the suddenly very interesting stage floor.
“I followed you here. You seems like could use a company right now.” Quinn said, with a little smile appeared on her face she doesn’t even aware of.
“That’s very nice of you, Quinn.” Rachel whispered, still haven’t turn her eyes away from the stage floor.
“Hey Rachel, I’ve got a present for you.” Quinn said, rising her right arm from her back. It looks like finally got some interest from Rachel, she raised her head and looked in to the blonde’s right hand and gaped.
“A mistletoe?”
“Yes. Surprised?”
“Of course. Why you wanna give a mistletoe to me as a gift?”
“No, this isn’t the present.”
“Yeah?”
“Do you know what people normally would do under a mistletoe?” The blonde asked with a smirk on her face.
“Uh… kissing each other?” Rachel said with a uncertain voice. Of course Quinn isn’t going to kiss her.
“Well… this is the present I prepared for you…”Quinn already push her lips on Rachel’s when she trail off.
Maybe this holiday season isn’t that bad, right? Rachel smile against Quinn’s soft lips, really enjoy this moment.
People said kissing under the mistletoe, the love will go forever, isn’t it?
