1. "Hey Vergil, did you get laid yet?"

2. He'd though about it a lot, recently. After all, nagging his brother was what he did best. Dante loved annoying him, it was what they always did, as a sign of being family. Vergil would get so aggravated, and it would always make the man in red chuckle at his seriousness.

...Still, that didn't mean Dante liked it when Vergil went and nearly decked his face in or impaled him with Yamato. Those he could live without, really. Not to mention they always left a scar somewhere on his body (the sword did, at least). Goddamn, you'd think he could take a joke about running out of hair gel once in a while.

3. "Foolishness, Dante. Foolishness. Might controls everything. And without strength, you cannot protect anything. Let alone yourself."

5. It was ironic, in a sense. The kid somehow reminded him of himself, when he was younger. Who'd have thought there'd be someone just as reckless as he was. While Dante didn't believe in karma, per se, he was pretty determined to push this kid in the right direction.

Nero whirled, his demonic arm glowing in frustration, as he charged after Dante. The two met head-on, Rebellion clashing with Devil Bringer, and the amount of force behind the punch sent the devil hunter flying, but not for long. Grabbing onto his leg, the younger Order member reeled him back in, delivering a punch to the face that sent him landing hard on the floor of the Opera House. Then came a series of decks to the face, each one intensifying, while Dante just sat and took it. He couldn't really fight back anyways, he'd kill the kid if he went all serious

+ 1. It was massive. Hell had looked so different from what all the pictures had said. Most depicted fire and pain and suffering. Instead, Dante found himself almost in a portal of dimensions, going from one place to the next. There were plenty of demons abound, however- at least that was the same. From a massive station with an hourglass, to a bloodied lake with gravestones, to a massive statue's foot that was in a land of white- it was definitely not like what all those books had said it would be.

And now, standing in front of him was the reason this whole mess had begun. Arkham had absorbed Sparda's power, and been consumed by it, mutating into a blobbish form and saying how he'd rule the human and the demon realm as such. While fighting him wasn't difficult, it was the fact of winning that was proving to be the challenge. He was getting tired- he had fought for so long, and his whole body was screaming for him to stop, to rest, to take a break. But he ignored it, pushing past the screams of pain and the feeling of fire burning in
