That is right. Most have you probably have heard that me and wickedthought aka John got married over this weekend. In a drive-thru, while out at a game convention in Vegas, on a dare. Yeah, can't do things conventional or traditional and all. But hey, eloping has a long history too.
And I am doing one other "normal thing" which is to say I am taking his last name. My first reaction to this idea was "ah, hell no!". Then I stopped and thought about it. Being against something just cause its tradition is as bad as being for it because its tradition. So, I decided to take the practical course. John has made a name for himself in the game community and I'm really proud of him for it. I want to be associated with him. And to be quite honest I don't really care about keeping my name.
In the process I am also going to change my first name. Changing it to Ro.
I am really really happy about being so lucky as to have him.
