Since it is just me and the cat this weekend, we watched a movie last night. The Fountain. It is very good, strange but good. The time switches are done well and very pretty.
Now we are watching Blood Simple. Boy, Frances Mcdormand is young in it.
I do not think Syvlie is impressed by either movie but well, what do you expect from a cat.

Now we are watching Planet Earth, the amazing BBC documentaries. I tried to get her to watch the snow leopard that can practically flow down a mountainside. No luck.
It gave me a thought about the procreation argument against gay marriage though. I mean fish rely on numbers to survive, but well fish are not all that smart. What with humans being able to use our thumbs we don't need the numbers game so much. Yes, I realize that the procreation argument comes from a people living in the harsh environs of a desert so had a place in their time period. I was just thinking that if someone ever tries to use that procreation argument on me in person, I am going to call them a fish.
