11:59......Last year was mostly awesome so here is to the start of another. Despite a number of invitations, John and I spent our Eve in low key style at my Sister's playing Wii with her and her new husband. I don't hang out much with my baby sis. This is due to time, scheduling, and a lack of mutual hobbies mostly. I mean I see my baby bro at Friday night gaming every week. So all the Mariokart playing was fun but even nicer in that her and hubbie were around.
I'd post some retrospective of last year or some goals for next year but over a whole year is always too long a scope for me. I am happily sitting in my living room, with a cat sleeping (and snoring in the odd way my cat does when she is really asleep) on the floor, my honey will be home from work soon (and I'll get a kiss), and then we're off to visit friends. I am surrounded by books, music and dvds and working on stuff to publish while eating carrot cake (with darn too much icing I actually wish there was less sugar but can't have everything). This is a moment I am happy in so as far as the rest of the year, behind me or in front, it can wait.
