Bang Bang Wii

So far so good!
We had xmas at my dad's side tonight on the Eve and tommorrow morning is me and John out to my parents. Already gotten my gift from Johnsweetie. I got Iron Chef America game for my Wii. It uses the remote to chop and mix and is really nifty. Just as important is one of John's gift to himself for holiday (using money his mom sent) which is Smackdown versus Raw 2009 also for the Wii. It seems with a little practice to be a fighting game I can actually play besides Soul Caliber. The only other one I can think of that rocks as far as fighty games is Power Stone for the Dreamcast but finding that little gem is nigh impossible. Fighty games are hard for me really. Even though I like Marvel Vs. Capcom 2 for the characters and setup, I always end up button smashing cause I can't memorize and execute combos. Ah well, the Wii really changed Mariocart issues for me (steering games like fighty games are things I want to enjoy but suck at, Crazytaxi I'm looking at you). The intuitive nature of the Wii remote is so nice for all these games that I used to not buy. God if only they remade more of my old games for the Wii, like Uniracers for example. Hell, Bubsy the Bobcat would be a nice addition to the lineup since it is geared for kids a bit.
Tomorrow, I am taking the Wii to my parents and we'll see how much I can get mom to play. Woohoo.
