I am so good at procrastinating
Yeah, last day of class tomorrow and I am just today typing up my two final assignments, both of which are pretty substantial since they take the place of final exams.
One is the last portfolio on the communication of the Addams family, my sample chosen family for my Communication in the Family class. This one deals with conflict. I am amazed at how hard it is to categorize the Addams conflict styles. I mean, they fight but they don't conflict with each other really. Wednesday and Pugsley trying to take out Pubert is taken as a matter of course that every Addams tries to kill their siblings. I managed to point out that the Addams use a weird form of avoidance, meaning ignoring the conflict, and competition, meaning winning the fight by doing what they want anyways. Its how they react to the outside world anyhow.
Of the other paper the less said the better. Its a literature review for the Empirical research methods class and boring as hell. I tried to make it better by choosing an interesting topic, humor used in advertising, but really it is ust going over and summarizing research reports.....necessary to know how to do but bleeech in practice.
Ah well, better get some sleep since John's car is broken and I have to get up early to drop him off at work.
