Countess Bianca Thorne lost both her parents when the drive of their ship "malfunctioned" and blew up. As young as she is, she has to take over the reins of their province, Mielait, in the Wesern System. Thankfully, she has the help of her trusted advisors.
Kyeson Thorne (bella_surena)- the heroic Master of the Road who will ensure that "an accident" does not happen to Bianca
Holden Rossk (Nick)-the serpent mastermind who is secretly creating an army of super soldiers to protect the province
Jenj Adrente (wickedthought)- Bianca's loyal tutor who tries to guide the steps of the young Falcon as she holds on to her legacy
They started early in the morning from Station Erie in the biggest starship in the fleet. It was going to be a long trip to see each of the inhabited moons and the nearest planet, all held by Bianca's barons. The backdrop of blackness made the sun all the more bright. One never even noticed the speed at which the ship traveled since the view from the port did not change and neither movement nor sound assaulted the senses.
Holden sat in the big common room scribbling notes on his pad. Every once in awhile she glared at Baron Kevas, who was seated at the bar sipping orange juice. Barons Kevas was one of Bianca's "moon barons" (thought by most to be a step below regular barons due to only owning a moon as their province instead of a planet). He was rumored to be working on a similar project to Holden perhaps had even stolen bits of her calculations. If Baron Kevas was indeed making the biological weapon to counteract Holden's super soldiers, then she would need to watch him closely.
Jenj was also in the common room keeping an eye on the things. He trusted neither Kevas nor Baron Carran (also a "moon baron") and was sure that one or both had a hand in the "accident" that took Bianca's parents. Jenj knew that the rumors that Carran was planning to take over a planet and make himself a full Baron were true. Carran's plans had been cut short by the announcement of Bianca's tour of her lands but would no doubt restart soon.
Kyeson stood on the bridge watching the stars sparkle like jewels nestled in their dark setting of space. Bianca was still in her private rooms and he knew that she was safe for now....
