Good on the eyes

My eyes have been very lucky recently. Me and John checked out Netflix and decided it was within our budget for entertainment.
This means we sat and watched the original Godzilla the other day (of course complete with monster's commentary....they thought it was a comedy). As far as tv shows, we checked out Dexter since brother and Surena have talked about it and it turned out to be pretty nifty. We are catching up on Penn and Teller's Bullshit since we only own the first three seasons. And in the actual dvd format we have seen Lost Highway (yay Lynch!) and last night was Watership Down (funnily coinciding with some rabbit commentary on a fundie forum thread about an artist that I like ursulav).
Out and about, we saw Toy Story 3 which makes the entire trilogy argueably the best three kid's movies ever. A T-rex voiced by Wallace Shawn makes me giggle everytime. And also, Inception (yay Nolan!) which oh dear God was fun and riveting. It felt like the audience was trying to will events on the screen towards the end of the movie (says something about how much of a reaction it was causing).

The downside to so much movie and tv (and yes video gaming) is that my reading level is a bit low. Ah, the tragedy of never having enough time to do everything I want to.

tv, movies
