Home, at my own computer, with my husband happily creating a new NWN character next to me. I think the past few computer-free days have been a little tough on my sweet.
Wedding went smoothly, very well, even though I blanked at the end of my vows. I'd worked to memorize them and we going along just fine until I looked at E. and thought "husband" and my mind went numb with joy.
The reception was a lot of fun, and then we raced over to visit E's grandma Marie, who was in the hospital following a bad fall. She was not doing very well in terms of mental coherence, which was tough.
Went back to my parents' after that and had a hard time to tear ourselves away from everyone- we had a great time chatting and all, but had to make it to the Dells that night for our reservation. Made it in about 11 pm. Damn near collapsed shortly after.
The honeymoon to Chicago will need to be another post, perhaps tomorrow; we had a huge amount of fun, capped with Andy's party on Tuesday. Very good to see Mary and to meet her husband Mike, and Ted was invited along too-
but it's wonderful to be home, and doing homely things.
