It's been a while since I've updated this. Mostly because I've been updating other things (wedding related stuff) and doing other bridal activities. I've not turned into Bridezilla, but there's a lot of stuff to finish up. It's making me a trifle cranky.
Finalized the guest list, got the final count in to baker and caterer and E's parents, who are kindly supplying all the liquor.
Got all the shower thank-you notes out. Will now begin working on the wedding gift ones. Yes, some wedding gifts are beginning to trickle in. Lovely pots and pans from the cousins, a place setting of our china from the grandmere, a hand-carved Welsh courting spoon from one of my dad's mother's siblings.
Got the veil trimmed, still need to iron the thing one more time. Shoes are purchased, all the necessary underpinnings bought (amazingly elaborate underwear!) and the dress is at final alterations.
My ring is purchased and in hand. The new jewelers had it in three days- not business days, but three days.
A few more things to do.
Updating registries. I'd never imagined how much babysitting these required.
Finishing favors. I need more ribbon.
Last round of talking to vendors and musicians.
Write neurotic jeweler a polite note telling him to shove it.
Sleep. I've not been sleeping well the past few nights due to a stress-induced skin infection that's rather painful. Perhaps now I'm on Keflex it will subside enough I can sleep comfortably.
I'm oddly calm about things.
