Back from Italy
hi, I'm back ^_^
I was in Bologna and though I had to work I still had time to enjoy the Italian life. Unfortunatly the Morandi museum was closed but I saw some very good other museums and architecture.
You can't visit Italy without trying some of the delicious food. In Bologna the cuisine is fat and delicious. I went to Il Calice where you can sit outside and drink wine while degustating some of the very best salami and cheese. After this starter you can walk trough some of the oldest streets towards Diana or Montegrappa da Nello, two of my favourite restaurants. Having digested the starters with a small walk you can now sit at the table of one of those two restaurants and look at the fresh mushrooms, the vegetables of the season or the rich wine selection. I can't eat much and usually one platter, even small, fills my stomach entirely. So I had the 'misto': a selection of the chef's choice with a little bit of fungi porcini (mushroom), mortadella, a thin slice of veal and some meats I didn't know at all.
This is Tamburini, you can eat here or buy the fresh pasta or salami to bring home.
And now I'm home, I will be very busy all weekend but I'll try to make some art, Italy always inspires. :)
