ALL YOUR KITTENZ ARE BELONG TO ME (not about cats at all)

i tend to write in this livejournal when i am somewhat emotionally distraught (or when i'm just bored)--

and today i've been agitated all day over one rattling guitar string... just one! i don't think i have to adjust the truss rod for it since it's only one...

i bought a guitar on ebay recently, an ibanez artcore afs75T; it's a pretty decent hollowbody that isn't over 500$ on the market. the vendor didn't see a few of the guitar inlays that were on the verge of peeling off the guitar neck and didn't say so on the listing. the rattling string problem came later (or became much worse) when my cousin helped me fix the inlay. i probably just have to change my strings, but i don't have any on hand right now that are the right size.

lately i have serious issues with my instruments to the point i think there;s something wrong with them (i had been worrying for quite a while that the string action of my banjo was too high and was afraid to adjust the truss rod) and there probably might not be anything wrong. whatever man, i'm just rambling here, stressing out over nothing. also, school is coming and is impending doom for me... i have three more years (5 total if i do everything right) and the GE requirements are plain annoying to complete (they're usually full of disinterested people, much like high school freshman classes).

anyway, i'm still trying to learn/learning some songs on the guitar... i haven't fully memorized an entire song ever since i was a kid (for my 2nd piano recital, lol).

btw: here is a band called "the need", playing in 1999

i've heard about this band in high school (thru the internets) and unfortunately didn't really get a chance to listen much to any of their records until now. i've always had a soft spot for metal/metal-ish hard rock music ... chicks totally dig the need (check out the horde of lesbians just screaming after 'em). radio sloan, the guitarist, played for peaches' live band. there is also only about three live videos of them in youtube. lol...

on a last note-- i might sound like a total idiot, but i want to start a punk rock band !! and do the whole riotgrrrl-influenced DIY ethic. it's all because i have this idealistic vision of the 90s and want to relive it... ( i'm not sure of anyone who would like to play in a band with me however) okay. i'm just about a little bit serious that i MIGHT make a "note" on ghetto-ass facebook...
