(no subject)
next thursday (july 31st) thao with the get down stay down is playing in SF. i just realized that the venue that they're playing it is 21+ and a couple of minutes before that i was debating whether or not i should go because i'm a lametard without a car and would look like a total loser alone at a show plus i would probably get kidnapped in the night...but thank goodness i'm only 19. now i can save money for the ... whatsit called festival... outside lands fest...
i borrowed some tintin books from the library, those 3-stories-in-1-book kind of book. afterwards i drew some fan-art. it's embarrassing, but i haven't drawn anything lately that isn't half-assed or stiff because i'm terribly out of practice. yay for tintin!
oh, here is a typewriter i got recently~!
it's manual and is very tiny. it can fit unto your lap! cute! it even had this protective plastic that held the type arm(?) things together, so i guess it hasn't been used at all. nicenice. (and yes that's an old power ranger toy...)
also, what is the whole deal behind china and their communist woes (aka tibet, olympics, and mass-training of young people as athletes to get gold medals for the "glory of china")? it's kind of scary, but i hope nothing fishy will happen... i guess i'll have to read and read... (wikipedia is just kind of vague sometimes)
