Dear Journal,
I went to a costume party down on Great Island. It ended up being a lot of fun and I met some fascinating people. No camera, but IIRC the costumes were
1. Purple Angel
2. Pink Angel
3. Pimp
4. Mafioso Pimp
5. Army Fatigue Dude
6. Keano a.k.a. Neo a.k.a. Scott
7. Lou
8. A Desperate Housewife
9. An Australian Mexican -- he had a gun that lit up and made Ptscheow noises
10. The Lead Female Charater from Alias (Sydney?)
11. Karen qua Karen
12. Ryan qua Ryan
13. Pete qua Pete
14. A Scientist a.k.a. Chemist a.k.a. Doctor a.k.a. Professor a.k.a. So wait, aren't you really just dressed up like yourself a.k.a. Yours Truly
15. Inspector Gadget (looked like an NSA agent or something and sort of lurked)
... now, the subset of people who got my costume was quite limited. I love making bad math jokes, for example
+ A Scientist and Pink Angel lose at beer pong
+ Peanut Gallery says "How come your calculator didn't help you"
+ A Scientist responds "Damn, I must have left in radian mode when I wanted degrees!"
+ 1/5 of Peanut Gallery groans.
Oh yeah, I went there. Degrees in Radians mode joke. At a party. With people.
Too bad I didn't take my camera. Although, it might have worked out for the better -- when I mentioned disappointment at not having my camera with me, a wiser man than I intoned: "Dude, girls have cameras," the wisdom of which overcame my womanly desire to take pictures of peoples costumes.

Oh and wow, I suck at card games, seriously. Need more practice or something I guess, I never bother to remember the rules.
