The post-comiket experience, an update.

I'm in Tokyo

I met up lillithium yesterday and we went to the Itoya, a huge shop with several floors of art supplies. Lilli is a very nice person and I had a really good time with her; checking out paper, paint and pencils.

Today I got up at 06:30 to meet up with Lilli and a friend at Tokyo big site for the comiket. We set up the booth together and Lilli's books looked amazing. waccawheels was there too and she helped us out many times. <3

Lilli made a free 'Happy Birthday Harry' book and a very elegant book on Draco and Harry. Wacca had a deadly funny flyer showing Snape in an old school prince costume and I had my postcards and books.

At ten the comiket started and I had a good time looking at the works of others and selling the books and cards. Lilli's book went very well and my postcards were also doing good. Unfortunatly my Half Blood Prince book didn't sell well, probably partly because it was in English and written by hand (in a rather difficult way for reading). Wacca's flyer was a big succes too. ^_^

I went to see the cosplayers who must have spent hours on their looks because they looked really cute, some with amazing costumes. I didn't see any fandom I knew apart from Harry Potter, but there were lots.

I saw the cutest buttoned up Snape (on high heels) and a very perfectionist Hermione, Harry and Ron were also present and I think I saw Draco. Unfortunatly I have no photos which were only allowed outside the building.

The day went fast and I had a drink with Lilli afterwards while talking about it all.

Now I will have to say goodnight, I'm exhausted and ready for a good rest ^_^

Dear Lilli and Wacca, it was a pleasure to be there with you. Thank you so much for helping me and for the great time together.
Lots of &hearts s to all of you, I missed you all while I was there.

I will post all the drawings from the book and I can't wait to be back and start drawing fanart again.

love, mnem
