Hopefully this will keep people from seeing the spoilers.

Now what or who are the Hallows?

And does this have anything to do with all the significant Halowe'en moments in the books?

And does it have anything to do with the timing of the Fidelius on the Potter's house?

*continues to link flist to this really cool theory*

Actually, note her name, too. When I first ran into her I did a double-take because I thought it was you trying to break into writing for some reason. You should comment and freak her out. XD

What I've figured out so far: In Arthurian legends, Hallows were special, magical relics (a sword, a cup... oh, this is starting to sound familiar...). My thinking is that the Deathly Hallows are the horcruxes. That has to be it; otherwise, the title doesn't make any grammatical sense.

And that's all the theory from me right now - I get to leave work early! YAY!

Very true, that was also my interpretation of the title, the horcruxes to give Voldemort the power to rule and immortality. But he most probably didn't get all of the Hallows. And where could some of them be placed?

Slytherin's Spear (somehow a spear doesn't fit in the Potter verse for me) or Pentagram: chamber of Secrets.

Ravenclaws Wand at Ollivander's or Ravenclaw's pentagram at the Astronomy Tower. (Since Rowena Ravenclaw happened to be closely involved with some of the charms on the Castle)

Gryffindor's Sword still in Dumbledore's Office?

Helga's cup ??? The Room of Requirements? A vault? Tom Riddle's Vault? Borgin or Burke's vault?

Thank you kittehkat for the link, now it seems to make sense. :) I must read more about this.

So the Hallow's are 'deathly' because they've become horcruxes?

This means possibly not all of the Hallows are 'deathly'?

The Hallow's are to bring Voldemort the power to rule the wizarding world, as a King Arthur would have done in Britain?

The four possible Hallows: Godric's Sword, Salazar's spear, Ravenclaw's pentagram, Helga's cup.

The pentagram from Ravenclaw might have something to do with Aritmancy?

Another Hallow could be Ravenclaw's wand instead of the pentagram. It could make sense in the Potter verse?
