Apparently have some kind of ear infection, probably. It started out as a strange but mild sensation in my right ear--I thought perhaps I just needed to give them a more thorough cleaning. Then it got unbearable--imagine someone tickling the inside of your ears with a feather--kind of like that, but more annoying. I'd find myself flicking my head sideways randomly, or wiggling my finger in my ear to the point that my head was rocking. So I tried Murine (sp?) drops, hoping they would flush out and clean whatever was the problem. Instead there was a lot of pressure deep in both my ears, and some pain.
Doctor's office. Hooray! He checks my ears and throat, prescribes me some antibiotics, and says to take some Sudafed. A two-minute appointment, except for the part when he comes back and says, "Oh, your Tetanus shot is up, you need a new one." No problem, needles never bothered me. But now my ears are still tickling and on occasion unbearably annoying, and I can't lift my left arm. The doctor might as well have deflated the muscle; there is no power in it.
In other news, I've recently found that just the right combination of dead cockroaches and hot water smells like waffles and syrup.
